Last updated 30 October 2026. This notice covers the school app and web panel powered by Noor Alert. Your school may publish its own notice as well; where the two differ, the school's notice applies.
| Who | What |
|---|---|
| Students (students never use the app) | First and last name, grade, class, and which parents are linked to them. |
| Parents | Name, email address (used to sign in), an optional mobile number the office may call, your relationship to each child, the phone's notification token, sign-in history, and which messages you opened. |
| Staff and administrators | Name, email address, optional mobile number, class assignments, and a record of actions taken in the panel. |
Only the school's own staff enter this information. Parents cannot change their own name or children; ask the office.
Dates of birth, home addresses, photos, student ID numbers, grades, attendance, health or discipline information, free-text notes about students, precise location, advertising identifiers, or analytics profiles.
Notifications are delivered through Apple and Google's notification services and Expo's notification relay; they carry the message title and a short preview. Emails from the service are sent only to set up the app, sign in on a new device, reset a password or confirm an email change. They contain a short code and never a link.
The service runs on Supabase (database and file storage, United States), Vercel (web panel hosting), Resend (email delivery) and Expo (notification relay). Each processes data only to provide the service and under its own security commitments. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
While a family or staff member is active at the school. When the school removes someone, their sign-in is disabled at once and their records are removed from the active system on the school's schedule. Delivery records and the administrators' action log are kept for the school's accountability and are not used for anything else.
The app is for adults: parents, guardians and school staff. Children do not sign up or sign in. Student names appear only to their own parents and to staff who already know them.
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes and the school is told. Questions go to your school office, which can reach the operator of the service.
